RCM REPORT

First and foremost, I would like to extend a special thank you to Tom M. for filling in for me at the previous RSC. I wasn’t able to get the time off from work to go. However, I will be able to go to the next one. There aren’t very many things to talk about in terms of regional news, but there are a few things I’d like to mention.

• The fall convention - A Path Less Traveled - is approaching soon. The dates for it are October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd.

• The next RSC meeting will be October 4th and 5th. The meeting starts at noon Saturday.

• The minutes from the last RSC meeting have not yet been added to our regional web-page

• There are a host of activities and clean time celebrations coming up in the Mountaineer Region. For more information, and to print out flyers for these events, go to MRSCNA.org. Thanks for allowing me to be of service, Nick L.

Greetings from your schedule day coordinator. The date had been set for the next schedule which will be on Thursday the 21st. We will be going to see our Wayne County contacts as well as dropping off the extra 120 schedules to the Huntington City Mission. Grateful to serve, Tanner W

Web servant
Greetings from the web. Everything is going great - both the web and print versions of the area meeting schedule are up to date, region has been notified of all area meeting information changes, and all received announcements have been posted to the blog. Any upcoming announcements, activities, or meeting changes should be emailed to gtowebservant@gmail.com. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Based on feedback from other members and my own observation, it seems like it might be a good time to update the GTOANA logo on the web site, and if that’s something we are interested in exploring, I have a few proposed designs we can look at. - Grateful to serve, Jason L.

Flyer day coordinator
Flyer day took place as scheduled on August 9th, we received support from 9 recovering addicts and covered areas of Ironton Ohio and Cattlettsburgh Ky. We will get together soon to plan the next event. Grateful to serve,

H & I SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT

Greetings from pinecrest saturday! The meeting is going great and the doors are being opened on time. The message of NA is being carried. The meeting is going well; the willingness from members is ok but could use more. The main issue I have run into is that a lot of people who want to do H & I have the clean time but have not had a workshop yet. A very special thank you to Tanner W & Rachel N for their willingness to step up when members back out or cannot make it. Grateful to serve, Sean H

Monday Night Presley Ridge H&I
Meetings going ok there's approximately 4-6 addicts attending and they seem to be very grateful we are there. We are continuing to have a lot of disruptions from other kids and even employees at the facility when the meeting is being conducted and it's very hard to deliver the message I feel I should either talk to the employees or we as a committee should have a meeting with the director regarding the behavior. Besides that the only needs I have from the subcommittee is a updated workshop list if all possible. I want to express my gratitude for allowing me to serve.

Greetings, Our Monday night boys' 7PM H&I Panel at Pressley Ridge is going swimmingly. We consistently enter and exit on time. Our message is being clearly carried to those inside with limited access to outside meetings. Willingness is high as per usual. The atmosphere in the facility is rowdy at times due to other clients and staff not attending the meeting. I feel our purpose is being carried out!  Truly grateful, Nick C.

Greetings from 3 north riverpark, Meeting is doing great. Willingness for panel members is up and adolescents participate share n inspire. This past week my panel was covered. Grateful to serve n be of service Brittany O.

I have had an amazing amount of willingness for people wanting to be panel members. The past two times I have been I have had no issues. They have moved the location from the cafeteria to the cottages.  Jenni H.

The River Park Adult Short Term Meeting is going well. The unit is stocked on meeting schedules. If anyone is interested in attending Monday at 10:30 contact Bo V. Or myself. Grateful to serve, Paul M.

New Business

Dalmas C brought up concern of disturbances at Pressley Ridge with staff and other clients. Carrie G and Nick C said they have the same problem at their meetings.

Dee Dee G suggested we speak to staff about moving meeting back to cafeteria.

Discussed talking to management and scheduling a meeting to discuss issue.

Discussed change in policy if panel leaders miss 2 subcommittees in a row. If members miss 2 subcommittees in a row it will be discussed by Subcommittee to determine why and they may be subject to removal.

Subcommittee will start meeting at 6 pm instead of 7 pm.

Schedules were handed out.

Meeting closed with group hug and the gratitude prayer.

Grateful To Serve, Carrie G.

The meeting is doing well. The meeting happens weekly. Thanks to all who attend and tell other about the meeting. I didn't come today and carry a group vote because I don't feel right because we have not had a member at area for awhile. It doesn't mean Serenityville doesn't care what goes on in the area. Our feeling is we are not in favor of the motion that a group needs to attend 2 area meetings before they are placed on the area meeting list. I trust a Power Greater than ourselves will guide us. Hope to see you guys at the speaker jam next Saturday. Love ya! In Loving Service! Myra H.
